It is so hard to find good horses. I started my journey in Portugal searching for a horse for my mum, and have since sought out horses for many different clients and requests, including for myself.

I have learnt a lot about finding and buying horses during the last 15 years. Building up a network of contacts that I trust and that share a mutual understanding with me. Simple things like when I say I am looking for a “calm” horse, and I know that the person understands my meaning of that.

I have now exported horses to Australia and New Zealand, and have learnt a lot about the different breeding lines, and what is possible according to different budgets and expectations.

I also now have knowledge of the most trusted vets, and how to complete the paperwork involved in things like change of ownership and exportation.

I really love helping people find a horse that suits them, and watching  that partnership grow. It gives me great pleasure to use the connections I build up over the years, through my riding and my journalism, and put it towards something as great as helping a rider find their match, and watching a horse go to a good home.
